Who is Richard?
 

Richard is a metal artist from Texas who began recycling "found" objects in 1993, when he noticed things being discarded that deserved to be salvaged.

​

He says he is in the scan and rescue business, constantly searching for any metal vessel deserving a new birth. It's a restoration revival of sorts and it never gets old.

 

Most of his "found" objects become LUMINARIES when he carefully and meticulously cuts beautiful fancy designs using no pattern or stencil. His tool is a hand held plasma cutter, no high-tech computerized machine, just a vision and a steady hand.
